Daytime Long Exposure Tutorial with Scott Kelby

This is one of my favorite tutorials from Weekly Photo Tips featuring Scott Kelby that will produce excellent results.

At right is a photo I took at Seal Beach Pier. It's a 40-second daytime exposure taken on a very bright day.

You'll need to purchase a neutral-density filter, and it will set you back a few bucks. A neutral density filter will allow you to shoot at long shutter speeds in the daylight. By doing so, it will blur motion. Uses include landscape photography with ocean waves and/or moving clouds.

Hope you enjoy it.
